Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in an excellent game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the casino, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, beginner players don’t need to fret about other, more skillful players taking their cash.
A further Pai Gow edge is the fairly slow game play, rookies can take their time and scheme without needing to make hasty choices.
It’s also much simpler to play for a long time with only a little bit of money after all, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card standard deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards face up and the casino is dealt seven cards faces hidden.
One five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
